Temperature Coefficient of Resistance for Platinum Using a Platinum Resistance Thermometer Callender and Griffiths Bridge
OBJECTIVE:
1.To measure the Temperature Coefficient of Resistance for Platinum, using a Platinum Resistance Thermometer, Callender, and Griffith’s Bridge.
2.Determination of electrical zero.
3.Determination of resistance per unit length of the bridge wire.
4.Determination of R2 and R1 at steam temperature and room temperature respectively.

SUSPECTIBILITY BY QUINCKS TUBE METHOD (CAT NO. E-30)
Measurement of Susceptibility of paramagnetic solution is a laboratory setup to measure the susceptibility of paramagnetic solution by Quinck`s tube Method. Susceptibility refers to that quantity of a substance by virtue of which the substance gets magnetized. In other words, it refers to the extent of induced magnetization in unit field. On the basis of Susceptibility, a substance can be classified as diamagnetic, paramagnetic, and ferromagnetic substance, which is an important observation in material science.
